A black, very low-yield, late-budding variety; its wines are very highly-rated. Its small, round, thick-skinned, deep black grapes grow in large clusters.

It give a wine of a vivid bluish purple, with high acidity and intense aroma, both of which develop magnificently in wood and in the bottle. These are intensely aromatic wines with a long life. A capricious varietal and full of character; it promises to give us wines that are unique and surprising.

La Pedrera

We have been experimenting since 2002 with this varietal, which Adriana used for her 8A Mil Gracias, a wine that is 100% Graciano, a testimony to the combination of a unique soil in the La Pedrera Vineyard and a unique grape variety. An unusal wine for the adventurous wine-drinker.
